Demaree Crossing feels like home the minute you walk in the door and you can tell the staff truly cares and the residents all seem happy. This place is so nice and new and open. The staff members are all very friendly. There are plenty of activities provided for the residents to participate in. I have not eaten here but it looks like the food is good. We looked at several assisted living facilities for our Mom.

When my sister and I were looking for a place for our mom, we had heard a lot about this community. We came to visit one time and there was a young woman coming out that had told us she just moved her grandmother in and how great it was. There were a lot of people that were telling us how amazing it was and it’s really lived up to that. The staff is amazing and anytime we’ve had any questions or had any issues, they’ve been wonderful about helping. They give us an assessment each month to let us know how our mom is doing and I really like that. Mom says the food is good and there are plenty of options to choose from.
Being the youngest resident, wheel-chair-bound, I had to move to an AL facility because I could no longer stay home by myself. That said...living at GTP is, for me, the next-best thing to "home". The building is older, but in very good shape, and of a classy kind. The facility "grounds", with landscaping, mature vegetation, walkways, are awesome. Nice patio area with seating and, HA, a full-size heated pool.

We chose Walker Place mainly because when I was state inspector I had inspected the place and knew quality when I saw it. It is a very cozy and home like atmosphere. There is a courtyard in the middle of the facility and you can observe it from the common areas and dining room as well which is very nice.
